General

Google is a fantastic product, but here is why relying on Google for your inclusive scheduling is a bad idea.

Our calendar is suitable for companies with offices across the globe. Depending on your subscription level, you can choose different themes: US, Canada, Global, or custom. The calendar covers events from all countries.

Your Diversity Calendar is a private resource for your organization only and cannot be shared publicly, including copying the content from within the calendar and sharing it publicly. It is acceptable to share some screenshots with a small excerpt.

Upon confirmation of subscription, your calendar will be set up within 7 days.

We have a dedicated editorial team that extensively researches and consistently fact checks and updates information within the calendar as needed.

There are several ways to promote the calendar within your organization, including integrating it with your organization’s calendar (Outlook, Google, etc.), embedding within your intranet and Slack or Teams, sharing the calendar PDFs, our subscriber newsletters, and links from the calendar, and much more. Your Customer Success Manager can work with you to ensure you are aware of all engagement options.

We continuously share resources on how to promote your calendar within your organization, and your Customer Success Manager can support you further. It is important that you do your part in consistently encouraging your employees to engage with the calendar – it is not a one-time action. Depending on your subscription, you can get calendar analytics. Please contact us for more details.

Obtaining precise analytics on how your team interacts with the Diversity Calendar within Outlook is challenging. This limitation arises because the data resides within your own Outlook environment, which we cannot access. We cannot differentiate between routine email activities and specific engagements with diversity events.

While we can track how frequently your Outlook pings the calendar for updates, Outlook doesn’t permit identifying the exact number of employees involved.

To effectively measure engagement, we recommend promoting clicks to the web-based version of the Diversity Calendar. Accessing the calendar doesn’t require employees to log in or sign up, allowing for easy access and sharing of calendar links across your communication platforms.

The Diversity Calendar is a paid subscription-based online tool. We offer a free trial period so you can experience its benefits before committing.

As a knowledge product, the benefit is to your entire company. Pricing is by company size.

We offer a 30-day satisfaction guarantee, outlined here.

We’ll send you a Docusign order form. Once signed, you’ll receive an invoice and onboarding questionnaire. After completing the questionnaire, your calendar will be ready within 7 days. To speed things up, you can send us any vendor forms you need.

Customization

There are many options for customizing the calendar, depending on your subscription level. In the Plus and Pro subscriptions, you can add and edit your own events in the admin panel. However, existing events that are not exclusive to your calendar cannot be edited. You can enjoy advanced event preferences, such as removing events, in the Pro subscription.

You can choose among the preset options: DEIB Tips, Dietary Considerations, Inclusion Insights, Major Observances, Recipes, Religious Holidays, Religious Beliefs, Work & Global Holidays, and Healthcare Events (for Healthcare companies).

For Pro subscribers, you can customize this further by choosing your own colors, text, icons, and links (internal or external).

Diversity Calendar Custom Tiles

Yes, you can add different event Types with their own icon (which will appear in the Legend) and Subjects (which will appear before the event name). This feature is limited to 1 custom Type and 1 Subject for Plus subscribers, and not available for Lite customers.

Tech

There is no software to download. The Diversity Calendar is a web-based subscription tool.

Your employees do not need to login or sign up. The calendar is accessible through a link that includes a unique user key. Therefore, there is no need for SSO. We do offer SSO for the admin panel for Pro subscriptions.

Yes, this is possible. There are several ways to do this, such as GPO, Microsoft 365 Shared Calendar, Microsoft 365 Group Calendar, and Microsoft 365 InTune. Our team will work with you to set this up, and the Diversity Calendar will automatically show up for all your employees.

Our data center is located in the United States.

Using the Diversity Calendar is as secure as checking your news on established sites like CNN. The calendar is one-way read-only informational tool. We don’t collect any data except the email addresses of your calendar admins. Pleas see here for more details.

Yes, the Diversity Calendar is ADA compliant.  It supports the visually impaired who would interact with the Calendar using a screen reader.
